Penguin mixers are designed to handle a large range of chemicals for both tanks and drums without difficulty. These mixers are constructed of 316SS shafts, couplings, and propellers. For a completely metal-less mixer when in contact with the solution, a polypropylene propeller and sleeved shaft are supplied. Choice of the available pumps, bases, mounts, and propeller materials are available.

Filter Pump History
Jerry Hollander, a WWII veteran and UCLA engineering graduate, founded Penguin Pumps in 1970. Penguin manufactured corrosion-resistant pumps, mixers, filter systems, and filter chambers primarily used in the surface finishing, chemical processing, and chemical manufacturing industries.
In 2005, Jerry formed Filter Pump Industries as a division of Penguin Pumps. Filter Pump focused on purification systems for the plating, electronics, chemical, and water industries. Penguin continued to focus on pumps, pump parts/motors, impellers, eductors, mixers, and metal recovery systems.
In 2023, Penguin Pumps/Filter Pump Industries was acquired by Finish Thompson Inc. It currently operates as Filter Pump, a division of Finish Thompson Inc.
Filter Pump continues to manufacture Penguin-branded pumps and eductors.
